‘Living with your teenager: riding the storm!’
A series of informal, friendly and supportive workshops run by a Relate counsellor where you will meet other people with similar experiences. You can choose which workshop/s you would like to attend. Assertiveness, Dealing with Conflict, Anger Management and Bullying are some of the workshops that have been held although we are willing to consider other suggestions!
 
Cyber-Bullying Awareness Session
What’s the session about?
  •   It’s an opportunity for parents and carers to understand the opportunities and threats associated with the Internet as well as other mobile technologies.
  •  It’s aimed at providing parents and carers with advice and information on how to effectively protect their children whilst online and when using mobile technologies.

Drugs Information Session
This 1½ hour session will provide you with information on basic drugs awareness, drugs and the law, categories of drugs, signs and symptoms of drug use and where to get help and additional information.

‘How to Drug-Proof Your Kids!’
This 12 hour course (sometimes run over 6 weeks or on 2 days) aims to address some of the concerns that you may have e.g. How can I let my kids enjoy themselves but keep them safe from harm?, Can I steer my child away from the harmful use of drugs?, How can I keep the door of communication open?
